As a raven-keeper and daughter of the Valkyrie, 13-year-old Gunnr is tasked with finding the prophesied hero meant to end Ragnarök. She just didn't think it would be a skinny scavenger boy who shivers at the sight of her sky horse and calls everything a monster. 

If finding him wasn't enough, training him definitely is. 

He can't fight. 

He can't ride. 

He can't even hold an axe properly. 

And real monsters the size of buildings and icebergs and mountains are closing in-- monsters only the hero's god-power can defeat. 

Gunnr may just have to defeat them herself.
