Qualifications
As an unpublished, aspiring author, I get this question a lot: what makes you qualified to write a book? Well, let me tell you.

No one is qualified to write a book, and everyone is qualified to write a book. Contradictory, isn't it? Perhaps that is just what you get from an INFJ. If you want cold facts, I have those:
- BA in Creative and Professional Writing
- 2 yrs experience working as a writing consultant
- 5 + yrs of freelance editing for college students and professional businesses
However, if you want my real answer, you'll have to dig deeper. I'm not qualified. Right now, I'm working on my first book that is well over 170,000 words (insanity, I know). I am just a baby trying to do what all the grownup authors do. And here is the catch: I understand this. I know that I'm still learning, and I'll never stop learning as long as I continue on this path. I have a goal. I have a passion. And no matter what, I won't stop until I'm satisfied.
So, I'm not qualified right now, but we all have to start somewhere. And those that start, those that realize that they don't need to be qualified to take that first step, they are the people that are qualified. Take it as you will.
